John Stezaker is a collage artist that our friend Harriet Bridgwater introduced me to the other day. She described him as 'totally fucking mental' and said that he 'mathematically deconstructs every creative decision, often leaving his compositions on his desk for weeks before sicking them down'. Boy, would I like to meet him. As far as colour and form go, I'm not sure I've see anything better than Rauschenberg.
