Days of Roses- Tonight!
Todd Swift will be reading with Katrina Naomi, Sam Riviere, Kate Potts and Jon Stone at the Basement Bar, The Blind Mice, 5 Ravey Street in Shoreditch. Apparently there's 'no sign, just a big number 5' on the door. It starts at seven. Also, Todd Swift writes a brilliant blog about poetry with little things all about everything in between which is fun to read.
Jocelyn Page launches her pamphlet 'Smithereens' on Tall Lighthouse with a reading at The Hold bar in Greenwich, and reading with her will be Alan Ward, Ben Holden and Chris Horton. If you can't make it then I'd say buy the pamphlet because it's going to be brilliant.
For those of you able to be in two places at once, there's a reading at the Owl Bookshop in Kentish Town to celebrate the launch of Ambit 200, which is 'a special double issue starring... Jonathan Letham, Posy Simmonds, Peter Porter, Geoff Nicholson, Fleur Adcock, Alan Brownjohn, Carole Satyamurti, Peter Blake, the Ambit 200 Competition winners, and many, many more...'
Fleur Adcock, Sam Riviere, and Jehane Markham will be reading.
