Walid Ra'ad

Walid's work was brought to my attention whilst in the middle of a university interview recently. I asked to borrow the Professor's pen to write his name down as i thought his work sounded really interesting. He attempts to obscure history through a mixture of documentary and art practices. Coming from Lebanon, he has been surrounded by cultures of both opulence and chaos his entire life.
