About a month or so ago, Moshi Moshi announced their new feeder label, and it comes in the shape of Brighton-based Tender Age. They run a record label, blog and host parties; taking heed from their parent clairvoyants and almost predicting the bands that will next be on the tip of our tongues. Combining character profiles and taster tracks on incoming bands such as D/R/U/G/S, Forest Swords and Gauntlet Hair illustrates they sure have their ear to the ground. Their second signing is to be announced soon!
While Toby Bull is spearheading the business operation, Manda Wilks, a third year Graphic Design student at Brighton, is responsible for the visual wizardry. In the new year the pair will be collaborating on a project with hotly-tipped Beat Connection, in which they will be jointly responsible for every stage in the release of their upcoming EP from recording to artwork to distribution. Exciting plans for two d00ds of such Tender Age.
