Sidekick Books

Sidekick Books have been producing some really unique micro- anthologies of poetry for a while now. They're marvellously produced little books and include some of the best new poets writing today. All anthologies feature totally original poems written to a certain theme, so you wont be reading them anywhere else.

Coin Opera, sidekick's first anthology, features short poems inspired by computer games, from Bride of Pinbot to Bubble Bobble, Space Invaders to Street Fighter II, Paradroid to Portal. Pocket Spellbook is all about spells! And features incantations by Mark Waldron, Jack Underwood, Amy Key and Luke KennardObakarama is the second micro-anthology and contains poems and artwork inspired by traditional Japanese monsters, featuring Amy Blakemore, Kirsten Irving and Roddy Lumsden. Their newest book, Korsakoff's Paper Chain, features poems by Sarah Howe, Edward Mackay and Chrissy Williams.

They are all just five pounds with postage, and can be bought from the Dr Fulminare website.
